A History of Service

Signature Vehicle Protection Plans are administered by members of the Protective Life Corporation group of companies.  Protective traces its history back over 100 years and has been serving the vehicle service contract industry since 1962.  Each Signature Vehicle Protection Plan is backed by an insurance company rated A- (Excellent, 4th highest of 15 ratings) or better by A.M. Best (A.M. Best is an independent rating organization whose insurer financial strength ratings reflect its opinion of a company's financial strength and ability to meet ongoing obligation to policyholders.)  The Signature Vehicle Protection Plans are backed by Lyndon Property Insurance Company in all states except New York.  In New York, they are backed by Old Republic Insurance Company.  In Florida, the administrator is The Advantage Warranty Corporation (License # 60071), 14755 North Outer 40 Road, Suite 400, Chesterfield, MO  63017.  
The Protective service contract administrators have paid out more than $1.8 billion in customer claims. We have an excellent reputation and live by the values of integrity and trust while holding our employees to the highest ethical standards.
